Granny By DMB is a blast to play, and always gets a good response.....you have to be willing to belt it out though when you sing it

Death Cab- I'll follow you into the dark (of course its a great song check it out)
Jack johnson- do you remember, traffic in the sky, consellations, banana pancakes
Simon and Garfunkel- The boxer, song for the asking, only living boy in new york
the Beatles- yesterday
Clapton- Wonderful tonight (a bitch to play on accoustic because of the neck provided you play the electric version..the accoustic one he wrote is good too)
Dave Matthews- Stay of leave, ants marching, oh, gravedigger, and crash

basically i have a song for every mood and every thought....but i really like playing stuff that I wrote the most.

Time for the obligatory response:
Oasis - Wonderwall

Some other good ones...

Stone Sour - Bother
Third Eye Blind - Slow Motion
Dave Matthews Band - Steady As We Go
Eve 6 - Heres To The Night
Cold - Wasted Years
Blink 182 - I Miss You
Snow Patrol - Run (One of my favorites)

All of these are really easy, but great for acoustic.

In my opinion... the acoustic version of Plush by Stone Temple Pilots is the greatest song in the world.

another good acoustic song is the "lounge" version of a certain shade of green by incubus.

Past Recedes - John Frusciante

It's nice to strum away with open chords. I'm trying to learn Carvel and Omission from his Shadows Collide With People album but some of those chords are still a bit hard for me.
