I would get a good quality gig bag. Cause in the back of a car or bus things are gonna be bumping around. My friend has a warwick bag and its awful. Get a good quality Ritter one. My bass got hit by a car and its as good as it was new. They only cost around £15. Get a £7 Korg tuner and a guitar stand for £10. You should already have a cable + picks + strings.

1) That's ronsak but 10mm should be good enough padding.

2) It says for electric guitars.

I think they sell ritter bags at soundcontrol.

edit - this is the one I have

You don't have to go with ritter though, there are plenty of other makes out there, just they seem pretty popular where i live. It's probably best to buy in person so you can feel the material and see if is up to your standards.

i take it you live in the UK cause you posted a .co.uk ebay site so... They're in pretty much every town.

Take a look here....

Stick in your post code and it'll come up with a result i think.

It's basically a guitar supermarket... AKA High prices, poor customer services. Great for accessories and trying out guitars though.

Ouch. Okay, just make sure to buy from well know dealers with 99.9%+ feedback, any lower and i wouldn't touch it.
