May take a little while to save up for it, but just want some opinions of the better guitar.

Their exactly the same, other than the Quilt top. Both are incredible guitars, I can hardly put mine down.

Play a lot of them (if you can) to see which one feels the best for you. You wont regret it.

I'm not the kinda guy would ever buy a fender deluxe strat or a les paul supreme. I would much rather an american standard, but if birdseye maple and abalone inlay is your thing, go for it.

Nah, both made in Corona Ca. I'm pretty sure there is no difference in build quality. But noiseless pickups?! You can't call a strat a strat if it has noiseless pickups. Yuck.
