Well i got some GHS boomers and they are very nice strings. except for the fact that they go out of tune Very easily. It only takes one bend.

With d'addarios(sp!) i put them on and they stayed in tune.

Whats going on. is it cause they are new strings or did i string them wrong

new stringswill stretch easily, so every time u bend it will stretch them and release tension, therefore making your strings go out of tune, eventually the strings will reach their elastic limit-wontstretch any more, and you can rock on without worrying about your tuning

Yup, new strings aren't properly stretched out yet, so will keep coming out of tune, just keep tuning back and in a bit the problem will be solved.
