A friend of mine is selling a Les Paul Studio, Wine Red, Gold Hardware with an Ebony Fretboard.

Don't know the age but the serial number is 91113367.

I just love the way it plays, and it's the only one I have seen with the red / gold / ebony combination.
What do you think is a fair price for it?

He's a friend so I don't want to rip him off (too much )

Am in the UK so prices in pounds would be helpful

Them type of studios are gorgeous.

Offer him £450, if he doesn't like that, up it to £500 (that's how much studios generally go for used)

From the serial you can see that your guitar is built in USA on April 21st, 1993.
I sold mine LP Studio (from 98) for 1000?
How would you like to be an egg? You only get laid once. It takes 4 minutes to get hard, 2 minutes to get soft. You share your box with 9 other guys. But worst of all: the only chick that ever sat on your face was your mother. So cheer up...

pre 2000 gibsons are more desirable and better made than the new ones

^But his friend doesn't know that, and probably won't ever.

Just offer him £450 and say it's 'coz it's oldish.
