Hi. I have a squier neck and i would like to remove the squire logo etc. from the headstock and replace it with a Fender stratocaster decal.

How would i go about properly removing the decal from the headstock?
currently playing a Stratocaster
Amp - small 15watt thing, getting 150 watt soon

Yeah, sand it off is my guess, but why are you doing that?

it's a project of mine im doing, and yes I am trying to make a replica fender stratocaster. Mostly for personal use as i rarely gigwith my band lol. what grit of sandpaper is best?
