ive had a lp custom epi and yamaha rgx a2 and now have MIA strat

the thing is i can like hear my watch ticking on the amp when i rest my arm on the neck or i can hear like a phaser sound when i change the channel on the tv

is this normal?

this is because ur pickups 'hear' more than just the vibrations on the strings...susposedly the singer in STP sang the beginning to dead and bloated thru his pickups. just take the watch off!

EDIT: oh and it is normal in case i didnt make that clear! =)

yes, its normal. it's just the pickups picking up other noises. try moving your guitar towards and away from a TV when it's on. you will hear the white noise.

well i dont now, i thought it was pretty cool actually

its a present from my dad (a jeweller) and its a kickass watch

im sure ive seen slash wear a watch a citizen watch if im not mistaken
