I dunno if that song is considered Blues but Im pretty sure CCR covered it from some old Blues song. Can anyone shed some light on this situation? Thanks.

John Fogerty wrote it, but it was based on an older song that I can't recall. I think that's the one with the Hubert Sumlin riff in it too.

I think it was written and originally preformed by a rockbilly singer/guitarist named dale hawkins in the 1950s
