personally, I'm very disapointed with the new album. Have every other one, and I really think it was the choice to bring in the producer that made the album an atempt to break into the mainstream.
Everything is overexagerated, with the vocal overlapping and "megaphone" vocals. Took the "hard song-slow song" thing too far, too many slow songs for the album to be enjoyable.
Bassicly, took some of the main points and all of the nuances that made Mafia great, blew them up and multiplied them, and hoped for a radio hit.
Kind of a dissapointment to me as a musician and SDMF, now makes alot of the BLS stereotypes that uber-hxc death-thrash-grind-black-doom metal internet spammer dragonforce 30 year olds say true.
Pretty much, I think the only songs worth listening to are Concrete Jungle and Faith is Blind
"what are good intermediate classic rock covers?"
