how much is the input impedance of the primary winding of a standard 6L6 output transformer? 50w??

thanks!

Look at it this way- everyone rags on air guitar here because everyone can play guitar. If we were on a lawn mower forum, air guitar would be okay and they would ridicule air mowing.

there's no such thing as a standard 6l6 output transformer
what kind of amp are you talking about, or what kind of output transformer are you looking at?

it's probably 2-8k though, but it depends on your amp and the number of power tubes and in which mode they're operated in, not just which tubes you use and the output wattage, i've seen 50w amps using dual 6l6's at 2k primary winds on the OT, though, if that helps any. Just remember, your output transformer will also effect your tone
