Song is on my sig. Click the link and listen to the first one...

Many mistakes noted... Point them out if you wish.

It was very good. What gear are you using?

yeah you should finish the song. It was a pretty great cover. but what happened with battery?
#12
I didn't play Battery with the drums or a Metronome. It was something I put together real quick.

I'm listening to it right now, and I have to say that it is just AWESOME. You need to get a good vocalist, so that you can lay down some vocals, and then it would REALLY kick ass.

Oh, and please finish it. I really want to hear the rest!

Alright. The whole song is under way but I need someone to cover Kirk's solo because I'm mainly a rhythm player. If anyone's interested, message me.

Ok, the first group of settings for example.

It's the EQ on an SM57 microphone The top number is the frequency, the bottom number is the db - or + And it's by a power of 50.

The last group to the right is the amp's tube eq.

The row in the middle with the numbers and /'s is the amp's settings.

I personally did not use it all. I only used the SM57's EQ and the amp's eq/settings.

Another link explaining the amp's EQ and whatnot.

It's another forum in which the original crew members of Metallica who set up the mics/eq for them posted the EQ's. These EQ's and settings are directly taken from the albums.

Lol. I lied. I din't have a JCM800. I plugged my guitar into my computer and used Cubase SX with a few plugins { Rednef twin + Jcm800 } and got this tone. Best thing about these plugins are that they sound great and they are free.

Thanks =]. I'm still waiting for the guy who's doing the solos to finish the entire cover. If anyone's interested in doing the singing, by all means go for it. We can make this a nice little group effort.

wa really great, nice palm muting and tone but one thing, sounded like you were tuned to D on the riff after the chorus for some reason, or maybe I just need sleep, great job anyway

Anyone know where I can find a better backing track for Master ofm Puppets? The one I'm using is a MIDI and that's pretty lame.
