I'm going to be replacing my standard MIM J-bass' PUs with some quarterpound basslines. However, i have no experience in replacing PUs and need some help. Please post with some advice or links that woud help me out. thanks!

Simple as that. Get a soldering iron, some wire, desolder the old pickup (think theresa sticky on that) check a schem on the seymour website, and thats it.

Its a lot easier than you think.

i figured it was easy, i've just never done it before. My dad's in the soldering business (company makes solder and flux) and he's really good at it so he'll probably either do it for me, or teach me or both... thanks tho
