I know which episode you mean, but it's not Pink Floyd song.

Can't help you much as to what song and artist, but it's definately not Pink Floyd.

on a literal level, yes they do. they use relationships a lot to represnt deeper truths.
especially in the more barrett-influenced songs like "see emily play" "bike" "julia dream" and "see saw"
but also later on with gilmour in a good portion of the wall and the entire album the division bell

See-Saw was a Wright song. And im pretty sure it isn't a Floyd song (the one the thread starter is talking about).

There is no dark side of the moon, as a matter of fact, it's all dark.

Well, personally I think they're both great albums, but this is starting to get way off topic.

it was directed at get born as he said the gilmour era was crap, yet i do enjoy both of the albums

Well, maybe I over exagreatted a bit, but still, even the Pink-Floyd-Or-Nothing-At-All people say there was only one good album from that era, lets face Waters was the heart, he wrote evrything, he was the leader and without him they wouldnt have gone anywhere, but I soooooo wish that Barret could have been around for one more album, just to see what he would have done...

I love Obscured. I remember way back when (like, a year ago) when people on this website did not know about that album at all...I was like, "everyone has to check out this album now!" Now everyone likes it

okay im pretty sure they both own. rogers voice is a lot more angst filled which fits some stuff better than dave's more pure voice (refer to delicate sounds of thunder for the latter)

overall the pink floyd equation reads like this:

I <3 ANIMALS.

And I agree Final Cut was garbage. It's even voted worst Floyd album. Hell, it can barely be CALLED a Floyd album. It's basically just Waters' first solo album.

And anybody...ANYBODY...that badmouths my man Dave gets a swift kick to the throat. The man is a genius.
