I love this band, they're music is amazing. But tell me what you all think of them, and tell me what genre they are, i'm not sure if i put it in the right sub-forum, but i'm sure they're indieish. i think, well, post. :]

Seen them live a few times, can be a bit hit and miss.

This is What i Know about Gigantic and Highly Refined Pirates are classic albums though.
Enjoy your worries, you may never have them again.

I made a thread about them a while ago, cool band. I have menos el oso and various other random songs, the guitar work is really cool and the vocals fit the disaffected mood of the music really well. The guitar freakout on one of the tracks (The Fix I think) is awesome in a J-Mascis-meets-Eddie-Van-Halen kind of way.

They're quite good but for me they kinda get boring but Fulfill the Dream is a great tune.

They're quite amazing i think. The music i'm wanting to make is definitely going to be influenced by them alot. I love them. pretty amazing, what effects do they use to get the absynthe party at the fly honey warehouse<<<< i think that's it.lol and pachuca sunrise sound on guitar? I love it. I would see them live, but the show they're having here is 21 and over, boo, but hopefully i'll get to see them soon. :]

don't think there's any peculiar efect on that song... just distortion with a sweet low frequency tone.

I think they're okay... I mean, their music sounds overproduced and a tad soulless... the vocals don't help on this front either. But nonetheless, I'm going to be seeing them on their current tour, and I am hoping that they're fun in concert.

I'm ashamed to say i checked them out because of their song names. Not in love with them but enjoy them every now and again.

These Arms Are Snakes should've supported the London date too.
