I have an Epi lp, and would like help with how to raise my neck pup. I saw the info about pickup adjustment on this website, but wasn't much help. I think it's the screws on the case of the humbucker, am I right?

Also, what is a decent height/average) Thanks for your help.

Yeah, there should only be 2 screws, dont use the screws of which there are 4

um..there are 6 small screws on the pup cover in total, with 3 on either side.

Thats what Im talking about, but only 2 of them control the height, the other 4 are holding it onto the guitar. You use the 2 beside the actual pickup, not the 4 in the corners

Switch your amp on, get a screwdriver and adjust to the height which sounds best, that's all there is to it. (They're the screws on the pickup ring, not on the actual pickup)

like said. the blue lines.

in addition, fine tuning can be done by adjusting the poles that are actually screws.
equalize ur tone to ur taste.

you want to emphasize certain strings. those are the poles, or sides that get raised.
to lower that tone's volume, u lower that screw or side.

too close and ull get a muddy tone,
too far and there is volume loss.
just close enough for extra bite.

make small turns, and with pole adjustments, dont go lower than flush to the pickup.
