Cool, another Rush fan from Ontario.

The more dissonant the better, heh. I will always love a major seventh though.

There are a bunch of cool ones . . . Asus4, Cadd9, B (played E-shape barre), Bm11 (fake pastic trees anyone?), and Cmaj7 are some of the nicest IMO . . .

My favorite to strum is an E. Only not just an E, but transitioning that E up a half step, then a whole step up from there... oh, it's so Flamenco-ish... it's just awesome... there's so much you can do with that simple E chord. First position. Transition it to second, then fourth position. Then second again. Then first position. Genius.

well if you are just gonna mute the low D string anyway then the fact that the guitar is in drop d is meaningless. that chord would be a G/B.

My favorite chord is a very simple yet stunning chord. On any decent guitar, i can hear so many overtones, i'm not sure why.
Eb ---0---
Bb ---0---
Gb ---0---
Db ---9---
Ab ---10---
Eb ---0---

Then there's that wierd but awsome chord that starts out The Beatle's "A Hard Day's Night", G7sus4
E -3-
B -3-
G -5-
D -3-
A -5-
E -3-

And i agree with moving the E chord in several places, noticeably when your first finger is on the 6th and 3rd frets.
#23
The chord in the end of Is There Anybody Out There.

e -12-
B -10
G -9-
D -10-
A -0-
E -x-

And the one in the beginning of Breathe.

e -0-
B -0-
G -0-
D -4-
A -2-
E -0-

And of course the open chords like G, Am, E etc.
#24
i gotta hook you people up with this Aadd9 voicing

e-0-
B-0-
G-6-
D-7-
A-0-
E-x-

or play the 5th fret on the B string for a whispy sounding regular A chord

you wanna throw an Aminor in with that after the Emajor then on to the fourth position it just kinda completes it, what do ya think.
