im gettin a new gibson special lefty faded sg in 2 weeks or maybe next week. cant wait already. i played it at the guitar center and loved it right away. my parents r gettin it for me and they said that if i want i can get new pups on it rite away so i was thinkin bout goin wit gibson 57 classical for neck and 57 classical plus for a bridge. or just one 57 classical for the neck and a pickup cover for the bridge bucker. i already talked to guys at the guitar center and theyll do it for me for only 30 bucks to channge each pickup. is it gona worth changing them?
learn to change 'em yourself. It will do you good
yeah ima do it to my old kramer, but for now i still wana have the woranty even with the new pickups because im changin hte pups at the guitar center, they said i wount lose it becuase they got trained specialists and blah blah stuff like that
yeah....... but the guitar wont screw up..... and its 60 bucks for changing the pups..... too expensive
Honestly, there isn't a lot of work in changing a pickup. As long as you put a towel over your guitar to avoid any solder splatters anf are fairly careful, nothing bad will happen
well yeah i kno its kinda alot but my parents r payin for it. so whatcha think bout hte pup. will they sound good. cause i love the sg supreme with those pups so im trying to go for the same tone. will it be worth dropping 240 on the pups?
placed an order on a lefty Gibson SG special faded last week. Today got a call from the guitar center sayin that their request has been denied becuase gibson has discontinued the production of that guitar. what a bummer. gona search through online stores for it
