went to a local music store today to see if they had any of the vox ad30vt's in stock and they didnt. however. they just got in (and put new tubes in) a peavey classic 30. i can get it used for 325, guy said he'd throw in a cheap chorus pedal and give it to me for $350 after taxes.

so between the vox ad30vt for $ 250 after shipping from musciansfriend.com
or go pick up the peavey for $350 w/ a pedal.

which is the better deal? need to make a decision before the store sells the peavey!

Despite the Vox's versitility, the Peavey sounds damn good, and it's valve.

But try them both and decide.

i hooked a washburn up to the peavey (first thing i seen with some seymours like i use) and it blew me away. always playing on SS amps i had no clue what tube saturation sounded like. people say the vox sounds pretty close but there still a difference. since the closest store that would sell the vox is on the other side of atlanta (1 hour drive on sunday evening....) i can't try one out soon enough. i'm pretty sure i'll be happier with sepereate effects and all tubes anyway.

just looking for that final push! thanks for allt he input so far guys!
