Has anyone? I've been looking at this guitar for a while, but I haven't heard much feedback on if it's good or not. I know trying it would be the easiest way to find out if it's good or not, but there isn't an Epi dealer, let alone one that carries the Guitar of the Month Epi's anywhere near me.

So, has anyone tried this guitar out? Is so, how was it?

You have the '57 reissue with a set neck? Or do you have one of the cheap $99 ones?

I'm suprised you're smart/old enough to figure how to post on a forum. Good job little buddy. Just so you know, Epiphones are made in China & Korea, not Japan.

Stop trying. You are not cool. You are not making yourself look any cooler. You are retarted for trying to win against a very respected member of the forum. You have not hit puberty yet. Hang yourself.

Do you mean that one Xenn? The only thing I found that would turn me away from one is the "Tonewood" body.

Yes El Codyo, thats the one. It is mahogany, but for some reason they put it as tonewood. If anything, the TV Yellow version says "all mahogany construction," so I could go for that too. I highly doubt they're any different though.

Now, AlGee, what do you think of this guitar? I know you've had a lot of experience with Epi's before. Basically, it's a mahogany bodied LP Jr. with a p-100. Think it would be a good choice to get the p-90ish sound, or do you think there are better options out there?

El Codyo, what about you?

The Jr. with the p-100s? I can remember playing something with the p-100s (or dog-ears, that's how I remember them) because of the pickups. I thought it was a steal for the price tag! If you can find one to play, grab the chance to do it because as you said it may be hard. If you're up to it order if off MF & if you're not happy return it.

How do you think it would compare to the $750 Gibson LP Jr.? I know there's probably a gap in quality, but how different would it be?

Weren't you gonna get a fender Xenn?

I'm still going to get a Fender no matter what. I'm looking at this one too though. I love the look of Jr.'s, and this seems to be the best alternative to the Gibson version. If this one isn't any good or would require a ton of stuff to make it good, I'll just pass and go for a more expensive Fender. I'm just checking into this one a bit more so I don't regret not getting it later.
