when i turn on my amp, there is a slight buzzing noise. it goes away if i touch the high e. so my question is, should i raise my strings some, or is the problem something else?

p.s. i only ask because i like my strings the way they are and i don't want to mess with them if i don't have to

Peavey Raptor

the tuner can go from jiggly to tight, right now it's just as tight as the other tuners

is it mechanical or electrical buzz?

if the amp is off can u reproduce the noise by shaking the guitar or strumming?

if not then it could just be some grounding noise, that stops when u touch the string.

Jenny needs to sow her wild oats with random Gibsons and Taylors she picks up in bars before she settles down with a PRS.
