ive got a talent show coming up but i dont know what song to play. i know a drummer but i havent found a bassist or singer yet. but im sure i will. the things not til spring i think so i have plenty of time. but anyways i play metal like iron maiden, ozzy, black sabbath, stuff like that mostly but i do like other stuff also, really anything thats good. i was thinking about black sabbath earlier and doing one of there songs or one of ozzys but i think theres sumthing better out there i could do. cuz u win like 500 bucks so i wana win. ha. so what do u think would be the best song??

oh and ps- i hate the metal where there not singing and just screaming into the microphone, like slipknot crap, so please dont suggest me any of that.

well thae crap you speak of is probably best to win cause you exude ****loads of energy nd musicianship in alot of darker metal bands.. uhh paranoid by sabath should be good, or well this is me personoally but i thing aces high by iron maiden would be a kick ass song to cover but youd ned to find talent to put on that song, it all depends on youre bands capabilities cause hell i could just say do a dragonforce cover that would kill em, but not too many high schoolers and i am one can play it so wats youre skill level

ive been playing for a year. i can play iron maiden the trooper and the solos in it. and i was thinking about that but i thot there might be sumthing better.
#9
i can also play master of the puppets and the solo in that too, if that helps.
#10
Well Iron Man and Paranoid should be around your range if you wanna go for them.

NOTE: It's been ages since I've heard Paranoid, all I know is I learned it pretty quick then forgot it when I switched to Blues.

do something everyone will recognize, but that's impressive, like crazy train, not the best ozzy song, but it's not that hard and the solo is awesome

or you can do iron man, it's impressive and it's relatively simple if you're fast

master of puppets would be good, but do a bunch of it legato without picking it. that'll make you seem super-amazing.

I recommend this one to every thread like this

Hotel California, (latin style possibly) (Add in fills here and there and maybe a solo)
MoonDance (Nice and simple, but with fills sounds great)
