So i am going to embark on building a prs single cut style guitar w/ a wilkinson tremelo and mark tremonti treble pickup. I am going to buy the body wood and neck from warmoth . I am unsure where to get the wilkinson trem. for a good price.
(any recommendations?) but the main thing i need to know is WHAT PAINT should i use?( for a black metalic look like this http://prsguitars.com/showcase/current/tremonti.html )

primer > sand > primer > sand > black > sand > black > sand > black > sand > black > sand > clear coat > sand > clear coat > polish
start with a 150 or 200 grit and work down to a 2000 grit wet sand through that process.

need more info? find a local car paint specialist. air guns with good quality paint is way better then rattle can stuff.

I would have Warmoth finish the guitar for you and get the trem from there also. They do really nice work on finishing, I have two Starts from them. One Vintage White and the other Tabacco Sunburst over Spalted Maple and both look mint.

Edit: They are kinda expensive but I make a decent living and I would rather pay somebody who is a professional in their field of work than take a chance on screwing up my guitar.
