Someone was telling me that he got some thicker gauge strings on his guitar, and that hitting pinch harmonics was a lot easier (which i thought woulda been the other way round). But is there a correlation between string gauge and "easiness" of pulling off pinch harmonics? Or is it all just opinion :/

PHs are easy to me on any guitar, i don't noice it having anything to do with the string guage

i dont think so, ive used 008 and 012 strings, no diference

only thing is that 08 is easier to bend the pinch hm up, cool effect

Well, it does seem easier to do a pinch harmonic on the A string than the B string, so yes.

I noticed that PH are much easier to play on my set of 12s than my 9s.

Then again, the guitars are different, which probably makes a huge difference anyway.
