simple answer- no, they are too light, get something heavier like 10s, 11s or 12s

I passed from 008 to 009 some weeks ago. the 009 buzzes less, and is more confortable to play in my opinion

No you seriuosly need higher gauge. I (like always) wopuld recommend ernie balls-they are the best in my opinion. And get 10-46 regulars or the powers (11-48) They'll work a treat trust.
