I own an Ibanez SA160 and i want to upgrade to EMGs. It has a H/S/S configuration so im wondering if it would be better to get a 81-S-S set or a 81-SA-SA set. i intend to use the bride for metal and rock, and use the two single coils for blues, PLEASE HELP!!!

i suggest you trade out pickguards and just get 81/85s

they handle blues for me decently, but if you want incredible cleans look elsewhere than emgs or get an 81/60 configuration

Well, David Gilmour uses EMG SA's, I dunno how long he has, but I think he may have used them on his new album.

according to EMG's website, Gilmour uses emg's... he may very well use both, plus more... but he's got some EMG's somewhere....
