That's a beautiful pedal. I wouldn't want to use it though, I'd be too afraid of breaking it when I used it.

meh, the price is inflated because of rarity/collectibility and not its sound. IMO the new Maxons sound just as good if not better than those old ones. If I were to get that, it would be more for collectable purposes. They are legendary, but their description is kind of like the old fishing story that changes over time. First its This big, then its THIS big, then it's THIS big.

i had one, i got it at a yard sale and some of the internal wiring was screwed up, so i fixed it and sold it for like $250, cause honestly, i dont like tube screamers all that much.
