i need some music to zone out to. all ive got so far is dark side of the moon and i need more.

it doesn't really need to be pink floyd, just crazy smooth music that makes you kinda zone out and forget anything even exists.

A drunk guy on the the bus asked me if i remembered the 60's. I told him i was 17 then he told me that everyone remembers the 60's.

I thought about it, and frankly, I couldn't fault his logic.

Sigur Ros is a good one, I would also suggest a bit of Air (Moon Safari or Talkie Walkie), as well as Martin L. Gore, Mercury Rev, Postal Service, and Stars

A recent study shows that 8% of teenagers listen to nothing but music with guitars in it. Put this in your sig if you're one of the 92% who isn't a close-minded moron.

For CHILLING? Or tripping out?

Chilling (my personal favorite): Guns and Cigarettes - Atmosphere
Tripping: Garden Grove - Sublime

Enjoy!

Post-rock and trip-hop.

And the Brian Eno.
And yet, to me, what is this quintessence of dust? Man delights not me: no, nor woman neither... nor women neither.

Oh yeah...if you don't mind indie/emo type sounding music, you should give Bright Eyes a shot. Poison Oak and A Perfect Sonnet are both sweet chill songs...and they kick ass when you're stoned.
