Okay, everybody. I re-worked this thingy and I think it sounds pretty good. This is the first piece I've actually written music to since my first (and incredibly BAD) experience so... yeah. Here it is . Enjoy. [Crit for crit, yadda, yadda, yadda]

Prisms

The roof tiles are burning red
The light sets fire to my bed
And all at once the loneliness sinks in

I lie back with the setting sun
And watch as the day comes undone
The city sky gets filled up with spotlights

Oh, lifeline
Where are you?
I am drowning
In a million shades of blue
Oh, lifeline
Where are you?
You are the trigger to my bullet

Orange clouds obscure the stars
The dim light picks out the scars
Both on my arm and somewhere in my head

The floor seems to be just as bright
Broken bottles reflect the light
I remember other things left broken

Oh, lifeline
Where are you?
I am drowning
In a million shades of blue
Oh, lifeline
Where are you?
You are the trigger to my bullet

The light glows green but I am standing still
(Against my will)
The purple flowers hold me here
(Against my will)

Oh, lifeline
Where are you?
I am drowning
In a million shades of blue
Oh, lifeline
Where are you?
I am pulling the trigger

I'll miss the yellow sunrise
And sleepless indigo night

I really need crits for this, people. It might be part of my first ever performance so yeah, this is REALLY important.
