im going to buy a cheap les paul, but i dont know with brand, im thinking of a j&d lc3 or a tanglewood 505.
depending on where your located also check out Agile and even Vintage guitars (the brand name)
I would go for an epiphone Lp 100, only about 190 bucks, and very nice guitar
i live in sweden and i cant get an agile, i prefer cherry or white lp and the lp 100s cherry version is ugly.
but then ill have to import and i think that will cost alot.
what country do you live in?
i live in sweden
There you go.
There you go.
thanks for that, im way too tired to do this. anyway ts i think your gonna have to order it in anyway cos i cant seem to find any shops in sweden that carry Vintage guitars
there's a german site www.thomann.de I think that it has dealers in sweden go check it out
no, i have to buy either an tanglewood 505 or an j&d lc-3, my parents wont let me import.
Perhaps get one of those Encore les Paul copys? They're Ok for a cheap LP.
not sure if i can get them in sweden
im gonna buy this one, http://www.jandd-guitars.com/jd-lc3.htm, or this one http://www.tanglewoodguitars.co.uk/products/stockDetails.asp?cID=507&sID=1828
thats a hard choice cos both seem like good LP but they dont use mahogany body's and that would contribute to the warmth that most LP give out
I'd say the tanglewood from those two, basswood would give a sound closer to an LP than the alder body on the other one.
I'm sure you MUST be able to get an Epiphone Les Paul Special II just about anywhere... I could probably get one in the Galapagos Islands or something, or some rock in the middle of the Pacific...
the special II is a candidate, its very cheap and looks kinda nice, not as nice as the other two but anyway......
i vouch against the special II the quality in them is very much lower than the original two candidates
yeah, maybe, and the other two looks alot nicer......
trust me on it, the epi is the lowest LP available from epi i think, there probably are worse but yeh
then ill rather go with the tanglewood or the j&d
I dont know who's in Sweden but an Epiphone std/Custom/quilt top or Tokai are good guitars.
