So for my media work, i have to make a video titled "The Follower", so basically about a stalker. Me and my group are filming it in college, and i've been assigned soundtrack duties. So i need some good metal songs which are creepy, heavy or both.
So far i'm considering The river dragon has come - Nevermore.
So i would like some suggestions to check out.

Probably not what you're looking for but take into consideration Iron Maiden-Killers. I couldn't think of anything else that you might want.

How about Black Sabbath's "War Pigs?"

Or the song 'Black Sabbath', it's heavy and creepy as hell, and I supose you could say that the lyrics loosely fit what your video is about.

Jim Schwartz: It's better than the alternative — meekest, least aggressive, softest team in the NFL.

electric funeral is the creepiest Black Sabbath song, imo

other then that the first song that popped in my head was mary jane by megadeth, speciallly the line "No! Can't get away" and "If i know i'm going crazy, i must not be sane"

cannibal corpse is always good. Scares and annoys pretensious scene kids that think because they go to college for music/art/movies they are more cultured and more intelligent than everyone else.

joking ofcourse ;-)

I agree with the Grand Conjuration ^
I’m not the man I used to be, I... I can’t go back to Arkham.

I... I should return to Arkham.

I'd go for Black Sabbath's selftitled aswell. It's really creepy and has a cool old school feel to it. Could be very nice for a movie.

Nevermore - The Sound of Silence [Simon and Garfunkel cover]...it's a hell of a lot creepier than River Dragon.

The Sound of Silence is a Simon and Garfunkel cover?

*checks lyrics*

Wow.

Anyway, for the threadstarter, go with...

Opeth
-Bleak
-Deliverance (kinda fits the theme)
-The Funeral Portrait

Black Sabbath
-Black Sabbath
-Planet Caravan

Nevermore
-Sentient 6
-Sell My Heart For Stones

Ozzy
-Diary of a Madman (suprised no one's mentioned this yet)

Anything from 'Thematic Emanation of Archetypal Multiplicity' by Blut Aus Nord. Seriously terrifying stuff if put in that context.

Very, VERY good suggestion. Also look into some doom metal tracks as well.

Better yet, you want creepy? Get yerself some Moevot.
