I play the guitar but I don't have a guitar amp, I have my brothers Crate BT15 Bass Combo, he barely uses this thing, so I was wondering if there was anything I could do to this thing? Or would it be better for me to get a knew amp, Fender® 25R Frontman Series II Guitar Combo or Vox Valvetronix AD15VT 15W Guitar Combo.

Is that Chuck Norris in your avator? I never thought of him as a shredder really... a shredder of bodies maybe.

I guess so...in like the 60's/early 70's every man and his dog used to play thorugh bass amps, was really fashionable for some reason...deeper bass tone possibly? Anyways, the biggest difference is that bass amps are set up so that the low frequencies won't damage the speakers. (but then I've played a bass through my guitar amp for years (even live) without any problems so there you go)

People used to play through bass amps, usually because they had higher headroom,,,and most just liked the tone

For an effects pedal, you could try a Zoom 705 or a Digitech RP200

Multi FX pedals suck.
I'm not very active here on UG currently.

Multi Effects pedals do suck
But if your in your room practising on a 15 watt, you don't need a dozen pedals

I used my BP for ****ing around when I'm practicing
