I've seen many guys mentioning large frets, Jumbo frets, small frets, are they the difference between the two frets or the thickness of the frets? And which is easiest to grip down a chord or maybe rip pull-offs and tappings easier?

thickness, height, shape. and there all personal preference so it would depend upon your finger so you just choose one that feels nice

I personally like X-Jumbo frets, they're easy (for me) to pull off single note riffs, as well as power chords. Then even full chords, tapping, and soloing. The space in between the frets gets pretty small up at the higher frets (19+). But, once you play for a little with them, you grow to like it, you can strech from 17 to 24 (or I can) easily.

Like the other guy said, it's all personal preference.

If you wanna feel the difference, go to bentley's, grab a Gio = medium frets (you probably had known how it feels), an SZ =large frets, or an RG = jumbo frets.
