Okay so I'm thinking about getting an Epiphone Sheraton II, and eventually replacing the humbuckers for something else. What does everyone here recommend for a thick blues tone? I want to replace both pickups I think, because I think they're kind of muddy. Maybe when I get the guitar I'll like them more, but I tried it out at Guitar Center and wasn't too crazy about them.

Overall I like the guitar though and that's why I'm going to get it. So humbuckers for a warm blues tone?

Holy **** I just read that Robben Ford uses the '59 in the neck and bridge of his guitars, on the Seymour Duncan website. Okay, so I'm definitely getting that '59.
