So my guitar teacher is selling a USA Fender Strat HSS LT with the locking trem in a thru red colour, rosewood fretboard, S-1 switching, graphite nut and locking tuners for £700 (retails for about £1200). It is an amazing guitar, no doubt about that, but the only thing im worried about is the trem... is a odd one.

Could any of you guys with one tell me what its like and if its user friendly n stuff?

Here's a piccy of the model so you can see the trem:

It seems like the typical strat trem, so i would hit that ass in a heartbeat.

Meaning you should buy it

yeah, try it out, if you like it, buy it. There is nothing wrong with that trem, the guitar has locking tuners and stuff, so, i would rape it.

I have tired it and the neck is fenominal, i need to amp it up tho, and save up a few £££ im nearly there though. I'll probs be getting an amp later now :-/. My plan was to buy an amp then a guitar but stuff like this doesn't happen every day to me.

EDIT: It is not a standard trem, it locks the strings via the hex key bolts that you see, i belive they go sideways in and lock.
