So I've heard mixed opinions on hot rails. I want to make a Warmoth guitar out of northern ash, and I want to put a hotrail for the bridge. What would that sound like? The sound I want is a very clear, articulate, yet high-gain tone with good palm muting and harmonics. Not really looking for a dark tone. Is that too much to ask from a hot rail?
We're only strays.

Yeah, now you're gonna die wearing that stupid little hat. How does it feel?

Help me to live.

I make custom guitar wiring harnesses and I'm pretty damn good at it!

Hmm.....why not just get a real humbucker?
Why did Pat Metheney cross the road? He didn't, his hair got in the way

hot rails are a good pickup(in my opinion it is better in the bridge position) but u will get a sound very similar to iron maiden
