kinda dumb question but would rust effect the sound of pickups and if so i need some new ones could you suggest a good humbucker that would give me a good classic hard rock sound, aswell as good cleans

How did you rust your pickups?

Is it the actual coils or just the cover, if its the cover all is swell.

I had rusty pickups. There being changed right now. Are you sure it's the coil that rusted or the poles (magnets)?
