i got a gibson sg special p90s, if i were to replace one wiht a humbucker of some sort hsould i replace the bridge or the neck pup

That age of Guibson I would leave alone, its worth more stock than altered and lots of guitarists would love a guitar with classic P-90s. If you must get gibson alnico pickups. burstbucker pro's

well reselling it is out of the picture, the guy i bouth it from already routed the hell out of the thing, so basically im turning it into the best playing guitar, not a vintage reseeling thing

I would change the neck pickup . If original is not an issue use seymour Duncan if you do rock /blues ect. or emg's if you do metal.

You'll need a P-90 sized humbucker. Replacing it isn't worth it.

nope i dont, my guitar is already routed for some humbucker normal sized, all i would need is a custom pickguard which i can get easily
