Well, my electric broke recently, so I've been rediscovering the joys of the soft, mellow acoustic. After polishing off every song from the second disc of "In Your Honor" I started wondering what marvels the UG world might have to offer. What are your suggestions for new acoustic songs I should learn?

EDIT: No reason to let a good post go to waste. So tell me, UGers, what great acoustic songs have you been playing lately, and what effect have you had on people who hear it?

A few days ago me and my friend played an improvised acoustic deut, and one girl cried, and another girl recorded some of it. It was pretty cool.

Maybe some John Frusciante? Shadows Collide With People is a great album with lots of cool songs for acoustic. In fact he has released an acoustic version of the album. They sound easy, just basic chord strumming with easy solos, but god damn.. He uses barre chords way too much
