Hey guys, what multi effects pedal is better? AX5B by KORG or B2.1 by ZOOM ?

I just have simple requirements to play hysteria and have a decent arrange of sounds.

Past experiences with either of the pedal are welcome.

My advice, stay away from multi-effect pedals unless you're dropping big bucks. Sure they look good, smell good, and hell, sometimes taste good, but stay away. Don't be fooled by the wide array of effects listed, quantity never beats quality. There may be 20 different effects buult in, but each effect sounds like a 20 dollar pedal (sometimes worse!).

I say, commit yourself to the "necessary" effects, which I would assume are fuzz or distortion if you want to play Hysteria.

The Digitech Bass Synth/Wah is awesome, 7 different modes, and you have a good amount of control over each mode, if you want quality versatitlity for a reasonable price I'd go for this.
-Fender Deluxe Active P-bass (60th anniversary)
-Peavey T-40 (1982)
-Hartke HA-3500
-Aguilar GS 2x12
-GK Backline 2x10

Multi-Effects pedals suck nuts.

Boss Overdrive sucks for bass.

If you want a Hysteria sound, go with a (Russian?) Big Muff, and a wah, maybe Morley... or maybe it's an envelope filter.

Agreed, I can't stand my friend's Boss OD pedal.

Sounds really tinny and just utter crap tbh.

I've heard Chris actually used two BigMuffs to record Hysteria.

Not sure if that's true, but he definitely used a BigMuff.

If you cut down on these costs students won't learn so well, effecting the "quality"...
