Check out my guitar quartet composition The Lone Wolf and you will be rewarded! With a live wolf!

Are you a PROG-HEAD? I am.

Are you using bridge pickup? And try turning mids a little lower and treble up a little higher.

Haha its a horrid pedal. It works OK with the Vox AD series at low volumes though (With A LOT!!!!!!! of EQing)

if you've cut out all the bass or mids from the mix and it still sounds too bassy for you,it may be due to the closed back (i think it has one..?) . you might wanna try taking the back off and see if that helps.

back away from the amp when you play, don't stand right above it

maybe play in a bigger room
#8
well ive been playing it in the garage
it sounds bright and trebly on solos and such but when you like pound out some power chords it sounds too muddy, the clean works great though so i dont know what the problem is.
i was using the stratocaster on the bridge pick up and it was still like too bassy

Yeah, those amps are naturally bassy. It's the reason I didn't go with the AD50VT. Although I would've bought that instead of the AD30VT had I known how crappy the speaker in the AD30VT is.

I find lifting it off the ground to ear level helps. So get a table and put it on it or whatever.
