Hey guys, i was just listening to the lyrics of Ramble On by Led Zeppelin, and i just realised that they make reference to Lord of the Rings (ie. Mordor and Gollum). Whats the influence with that?

Ill assure you it had nothing to do with Robert Plant liking those books.

On a somewhat related note, Zeppelin provided much of the funding for the produciton of Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Plant named his dog strider after the character of the same namesake in the books.
