Does anyone have any idea why the Gibson Les Paul Voodoos and Menace's Are such a huge price drop from their regular counterparts?

Because they're aimed at metal kids who can't tell the difference between good and bad tone, and probably have crappy craftmanship.

I've heard good things about Voodoo's. I think they are all discontinued right?
