Im just starting guitar. Im learning theory and practicing my chords. But my hands are tiny! its so hard to make my fingers stretch so my transistions from chord to chord are verrrry slow! I just need to practice moving around! Does anyone have some good effective exercises that will help me stretch and get a little faster? Thanks!

That's a chromatic finger exercise.
One fret for each finger, and remember to hit alternate with the pick, uhm.. you know.. upstroke/downstroke/upstroke/downstroke..

then, you'll just build up tempo if you like to..

Check out the steve vai 10 hour workout. It's got a lot of very good finger exercises in it.

if you're learning theory then you'll like working with scales.
use stretch fingering positions, like

e------
B------
G------
D-5-7-9
A-5-7-9
E-5-7-9

(play with 1, 2, and 4 fingers)

Notice this is also played as

e-------
B-------
G-------
D-7-9-11
A-7-9-10
E-7-9-10

(play with 1,3,4 1,3,4 1,2,4)

but the first one will be better for stretching your fingers and building up speed.
other than that, practice easy chord progressions, like:
Gmaj, Cadd9, Dsus4, Dmaj, Dsus2, Am7, Cmaj, Gmaj (repeat)

-3-3-3-2-0-0-0-3-----------------
-3-3-3-3-3-1-1-0-----------------
-0-0-2-2-2-0-0-0-----------------
-0-2-0-0-0-2-2-0-----------------
-2-3-------0-3-2-----------------
-3-------------3-----------------

hope this helps...

Yea seriously, just constently
practicing stumming cords and picking
at every single sting and note will
definintely help. I do it about an hour a
day. Its tiring at the begining, but
damn does it pay of later.
