Anyone do this? I have a fairly bright toned guitar, and I put a Jazz in the neck and a JB in the bridge. I like the tone other that the fact that its a bit bright, so I think I'm going to run them through 250k pots. If anyone does this i would like to know how it sounds. Now, do I need to replace all four pots, or just the volume ones? Does the amount of high end roll off increase with each pot i replace?

Thanks,
Eclectia

well you could just get a compressor pedal i dont know much about pots and such

the jb was orginally designed for 250k pots as I've heard. so That's why they were made over bright to compensate for the pot.

^Why would he want a compressor...?

Use two 250k's for the volumes.

Thanks for the help guys. I will probably get pots and knobs from stewmac.com unless anyoen knows a cheaper and better place.

Stewmac is really expensive. I spend 1.50 for each from Mouser.
