I was wondering if anyone on here could think of why the standard MXR 10 band EQ is more expensive than the KFK Kerry King one (according to www.gak.co.uk)? this seems odd to me because a signature item, be it pedal, guitar or amp, would usually be more than its respective 'normal' item.

Thanks in advance for anyone who can clear up this for me.

I thought that too!

AND the KK one has dual outputs!!?

Outrageous prices for eq's, but i want one of those, like some hot woman covered in maple syrup.

I own the standard 10 Band EQ and it is a GREAT pedal. I highly recommend it and it's definitely worth the price in my opinion.

I use it in the effects loop for a solo boost and to give sort of an AM radio filtered sound. But it can also be used to give a really heavy food-switchable metal sound when you need it. Really, the possibilities are endless with this thing.

It's what you pay for amazing quality. It's a great pedal... if you don't have one, then you suck.
