I am either buying a Pod, Boss, or Zoom multi effects pedal. I am looking for an amp around 150 watts. I have a question with cabinets, can you just plug the pedal straight into the back of it? Also, would a combo amp or cabinet be better, any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

go for the POD. no you can't plug it straight into the cabinet. depends on if you're gigging, or recording or whatever. gigging, go for the cab; recording, for the the combo.

150 watts wtf? Have you ever heard of a tube amp?
Going to Columbia University this fall! Woohoo!

I'd get a flat-response amp, like a keyboard amp. I know Roland makes then, and Behringer also makes knock-offs for a lot less.
If you could blow up the world with a flick of a switch,
Would you do it?

If you could make everybody poor just so you could be rich,
Would you do it?

With all your power,
What would you do?

I've never not seen the word Behringer and the phrase "total crap balls garbage giraffe" in the same sentence until now.
