Ribbons and Bows by eric bibb lol some of the best lyrics to hear as you wedding bells ring. lovely double dropped d tuning example

Quote " We tell each other lies
We fight and forget why
We fell in love one time
So long ago.

If it has to change, then that's the way it goes,
Ribbons and bows, can turn into chains."

On a more serious note hmmm full fingerstyle verion of hallelujah by jeff buckley?
can u give any info about the type of people getting married? it may help us pick a genre, artist, song etc

Actually now i think on it it the song probably wont mater so much as the gesture of getting up and playing knowing that everyone is watching. Everyone will remember it so much better if you play a reasonably hard (you have a year remember) fingerstyle song in a solo performance on your own, rather than rock out some rod stewert classics on an electric. Songs like blackbird, River man, Blood red river, chronicles of a bohemian teenager ( off top of head) will get people transfixed and hairs standing up if u pull of a nice acoustic rendition regardless if lyrical content, and its that kind of moment that the bride and groom will remember.

first of all im guessing that your still a little new at guitar maybe? and Always with me Always with you might be a little out of your league(no offence tho
i got the perfect solution.. try this.. The Ol 97's =band
Question = song
beautiful song about a wedding proposal.. very romantic.. not too difficult to sing, other suggestions would be:
Eric Clapton - Blue Eyes Blue
Ben E. King - Stand By Me (classics like these never fail)
Joe Satriani - Ten Words (instrumental but very easy, very nice too)
thats it for now.. im a little busy.. get back to ya later maybe?
good luck..!!
