hey i just boguht a vox v848 clyde mccoy wah and ive just messed aorund with it for a bit and i love how it sounds...i just want to ask for anyone whos ever bought this wah before (of any vox wah i suppose) if there came a bunch of white lubricant on the gears of the wah. i know it may sound stupid but i just wanna make sure they didnt sell me a used pedal.

another question....is it normal for the the wah to be noisy when its on...like even when my guitar volume is at zero?

Hmm, can be sometimes, but not all the time, only when there's a bit of crackling from a cable, or if your amp's noisy.

I have the v847, and love it. Mine has some extra noise to it, but it reeealllly boosts my sound so I don't mind.
And mine came with the lube on there too.
Vox wahs are great pedals
