Well ya that is a sweet song, but i would say some RHCP and funky monks. Damn thats a good song. Any of RHCP stuff is awesome, but I find Blood Sugar Sex Magik funkier than the others.

I see that no one mentioned the likes of Cameo, Con Funk Shun, The JB'S, The Bar Kays, Slave, and The Dazz Band. These are true "funkateers" that made folks get up and dance back in the day. There are none that can compare to the funk of the seventies. A lot of that music still holds up today. I'll post more as I remember them.
