Well, do you have a Fender Deluxe Reverb, or some kind of Fender valve amp? If not, scew settings, you'll never get close.

Sorry for the typo, I've got a Blues Jr. I'll try those settings out, thanks a lot.

Hmm, that's ok then, I've managed to get a nice SRV tone out of mine a few times but I never wrote the settings down, make sure whether you want the fat setting on with them settings.

He also used a Dumble amp, to think for $40'000 you can get his tone.
TEEP!!! Oiiiiiiieeeeeeeyyy!!!!!!

Thanks, I started at the beginning looked on the page that was supposed to be updated as more settings were posted and looked through, albeit quickly, the other pages.

One, he nevered used a mesa, ever... thats just the dumbest thing ive ver heard. He had several different marshlls but usually a JTM45 Or aJCM800 both heavily modded. Two super reverbs, a Deluxe reverb, a Dumble super OD, and two small combo amps with no markings rumored to ahve ebbn bult by him and his guitar tech. However most believe that they are Cornell amps. (also used by clapton)

This was all taken from an interview of SRV's tech inside the cover of an unreleased album just released four years ago.

All exept the cornell amps, thats just rumor.
Mail Goes here.

"For the Bowie album Vaughan played through a rented post-CBS Super Reverb; for the tour, he says, he "just bought two MESA/BOOGIEs. I don't even know what models they are--they're the small wooden ones. The reason I'm using them is they sound a lot like a Dumble. But that doesn't mean I'm not going to buy a Dumble as soon as I get the money!""
